County Road Relays Success for Headington

Article:Headington RoadRunners' men won both the senior and vets team prizes in the county road relays in Hook Norton on 21 March.

The senior team held off challenges from Witney and Woodstock, winning in 1hr 49 minutes, less than a minute ahead of Witney.

Success also for the women as Helen Barnes recorded the fastest time on the day for as she led HRR ladies into second place overall.

Gary Harris ran the second fastest leg of the day.
John Griffiths was the fastest runner in a vets team
