2021 HRR Road Championships
Runners get points for competing for HRR in a range of road races throughout the summer. Points are based on your position relative to other HRR runners. Points are tallied to decide the final HRR road race championships in all the main age categories. Your best 5 races count with additional points for competing in up to 8 races. The 2021 club Road Race Championship will start in February with an easy 5K. It will be virtual racing which will change to actual racing when it is safe and sensible to do so.
The championship is open to all 1st claim members and are as follows.

Until EA Certified Road Races become possible and club members are confident to take part in these races the championship will have the following structure.
There will be one designated race distance each month, members will run the distances virtually while complying with any government Covid-19 requirements in place at the time. The races will start in February finishing in October.
The distances and months will be as follows:-
Marathon any time between February and submitted by the 18th October 2021.
Additional distances may be added as the season progresses, so possibly two distances in one month.
The race rules may change if circumstances change, this is likely to take the form of a change in race distances.
Times must be submitted to Manny Stone, (See club emails for address), by the last day of the month for that distance. Results will be published here and in the club Newsletter.
