Article: | The first 5km of the year got off to a great start with 32 runners pounding out along the course, eager to get back for chocolate eggs at the finish. At the front end, the competition was stiff, with 4 men dipping under 16 minute and a stack of PBs to follow from many of the runners behind, both on actual time and age-graded results.
The battle of the age-grading was between John L. and Allison, with John equalling the all-time best score of 86.5% that he set back in 2003, but Allison taking a fair chunk of her previous best to post a new all-time best of 88.3%.
