Overlooked by the spectacular Cathedral and adjacent to the Roman amphitheatre this new course was a pleasure to visit. A mixed parkland of playing field, rough grassland and muddy uphill woodland paths, it proved to be the most challenging course of the series so far.
Thankfully the men were able to field a full team and as a result finished 6th, with the Vets team soaring to top spot in their league, can they hold on?
The womens team had a stronger turn out and secured a comfortable mid table position in their best result so far this season. |
