A small but select field braved the sweltering conditions for the third round of this years club 5k series. Dave Bruce was the fastest runner with his second 5k victory of the day - he along with several others had ran the Park Run earlier.
The conditions meant that the age graded scores were well down on those recorded in the earlier rounds - so going into the last race Diane Moore is still leading with strong, but not unbeatable, score of 86.1.
The final race of the 2014 series is on Saturday 27 September. |
