Perfect weather for running and a flat course. I enjoyed this race - with 10,000 entrants there was plenty of room to run. Crowd support, although low in places, was great. Lots of the course is near a tram stop, meaning your supporters can get to see you at several points, including the finish. Water stations were frequent. I also appreciated the shot blocks which were available at a couple of water stations. Was nice to turn the last corner and be so close to the finish that I could push a final 'sprint'. I recommend this course for a PB attempt. |
