Beautiful weather for the 2015 Round Norfolk Relay. The team came a creditable 9th in the Club class (out of 21) with a time of 26:00:11. The competition is particularly tough for the M40+ however we achieved some excellent results in individual stages: Clare Howarth 2nd senior lady, Maddie Ding 3rd lady, Laurie Hurman 2nd age-graded (77.2 per cent, off-road), Neville Baker 3rd M40+ and age-graded. John Griffiths was â€˜onlyâ€™ 6th M40+ with a 77.6 per cent age-graded performance! It was great to have six new-to-Norfolk runners in the team and one not-so-new runner who earned a special award. Neville Baker completed his target of racing each of the 17 stages and this was recognised by the statistics-loving RNR organisers when they presented him with an impressive salver.
