On a night that was too cold and damp for my regular assistant, Isla, 33 hardy souls tackled the Time Trial. Daniel Bremner won with a time that finally beat his PB, set 7 years ago. Andrew Lockhart improved from 4th last time to 2nd this. Jeremy Fowler completed the podium places. Anna Corby was fastest woman as she nearly always is, when she does the Time Trial. If she needs another challenge, how about Allison Hirst's 19 year-old record, which is 3 minutes faster. Fergus was fastest man for the. 8th time. He usually makes things harder for himself by running the Time Trial course twice, but this time he warmed up for the Time Trial by running the Man v Horse. A special mention should go to Sarah Leach, who prepared by swimming a significant chunk of the English Channel.
