The HRR Coaching team organise a number of coach led, structured training sessions:

Tuesdays @ 7pm: Interval training for speed endurance. Sessions for all abilities of distance runners in public parks/street based/track locations. A mix of speed and training distance/volume targets, running on a variety of surfaces (road, cross country, flat, hills) depending on season and training focus/goals. The purpose of the sessions will be to increase lactic acid tolerance; strengthen your heart and lungs; build leg-strength; and develop good running technique.

Saturdays @ 9:30am: September - February: Cross-country training. These sessions are held in South Park and concentrate on strength and hill work using short repetitions combined with a XC time trial. They are aimed at preparing you for the XC season and the Spring road racing season but will benefit everyone and are suitable for all abilities. Come ready to run. Cross-country spikes or trail shoes are strongly recommended. Download the Tuesday Interval Training pdf.
