The season's finale was greeted by a sea of mud and very squelchy conditions. But at least the rain held off for most of the afternoon. A somewhat depleted HRR team nevertheless limited our league losses to only 1 place in the combined league table. Indeed the women's team climbed to 4th overall for the season just missing out on the medals, oh what might have been !
We did have individual success with Martin storming to the V60 gold medal and Philip's consistency leading to a V70 bronze. Well done chaps. Our Div 1 status safely secured, on to next season and hopes of a more consistent turn out. |
