| Comments: | The big event in the local running calendar was preceded by a big thunderstorm and heavy rain, which let up as the race started, leaving only the typical wind blowing off the IJsselmeer Lake. Nice course along quiet roads and finishing in the historic centre of Hoorn with a lot of spectators. Pretty flat of course, won by a Kenyan chap. And of course the T-shirt says 'Marathon'. |
