17 laps of Furzton Lake in Milton Keynes on a warm Easter
Bank Holiday Monday.
A nice easy 1½ mile loop of the lake, with a small hill to
the North, which somehow manages to increase in size over
the course of the day. The pleasantness of the day brought
out in force families with pushchairs and dogs, making parts
of the race almost like an obstacle course trying to weave
through the public out to enjoy the holiday weekend weather.
This is why the entry to this race is limited to under 35
entrants. Handmade Star Wars lego medals to the finishers.
