HRR's annual Club Race took place for the fifth time on Bank
Holiday Sunday. Lovely weather, lots of cake and a sell out race.
A great day.
The men's A team - Chris Dettmar, Sam O'Neill, Tristan Clarke and Richard Ashby - were first, and the women's A team - Amy Johnson, Charlotte Sugden and Catriona Scott - were second. Chris Dettmar was third VM40. The first lady was Michelle Dorrington who ran as a member of Hedge End Running Club but is now a member of HRR. In the County Championships the women's team were again second and the men's team of Tristan Clarke, Tim Betts, John Fenning and Mark Jones were also second; Tim Betts was third VM40. |
