Conditions were cool and dry for this well organised and friendly local race. Spectators, marshalls and supporters were fantastic especially the HRR crew (thanks to Martin Allen for the chat & jelly babies,our Chairman for the encouraging shouts and Geoff Burke et al for the loudest cheering i've ever had!) As usual, despite the course changes this year, the finish was a nice 400 metre lap in front of the spectator stand which was great for watching club mates finish (or them watching me).Special mentions go to Sarah for a stunning 3hr24 debut,Sandra for a brilliant time so soon after Berlin and everyone really. Apologies for missing anyones pbs off the list. |
