Ist race counting towards the 2013 Road Race Club Championships.
For anyone who wants an alternative to the Saturday morning park run this is a nice little fun run around Abingdon!
Near perfect running conditions, dry overcast and still, fortunately the fog that we had in Oxford when we left in the morning wasn't in Abingdon.
Congratulations to all those that made it round, some notable achievements (please add those I don't know about).

Our secretary Sharon "the Bolt" Pyner (even if she was disguised as an Isle of Wight Road runner) who took an amazing 16 minutes off her PB even more remarkable when you consider it was achieved in a 3 legged race with Rob Treadwell!

Many thanks to those HRR members that gave up their Sunday to Marshall us, cheer us, laugh at us (Kenny Lowies) on what wasn't the warmest day to be standing around!

Congratulations to our winners in the county championships: new member Jessica Leitch was 2nd lady, Eirini Flouri was 2nd V35 and Mark Richards was 3rd V50 (even after running at Shotover the previous day!) |
