| Comments: | When in Rome.... This was the little brother of the full Amsterdam Marathon (the 7.5km option being a baby brother). Pretty flat of course, a well organised canter round the pretty straight streets of Amsterdam, mainly the populated parts so plenty of spectators and a few bands etc, with only a short section through a dull industrial trading zone. Very uplifting finish in the Stadium from the 1928 Olymipics, and the promised rain held off for a very pleasant afternoon. | ||||||||||||||||||||
