| Comments: | The Arrochar Alps Hill race is supposed to be one of the hardest hill races in Scotland. Its takes in 4 munros with 8000 feet of climbing and has a course record of 3hrs 7 minutes set by the great Billy Bland in 1987. Two days later and I can hardly walk down the stairs but a great experience now its over. I was 14th until the last munro when a slight navigational error and very heavy legs led to many a slight mountain goat fell runner bounding past me on the final decent. |
