| Comments: | Is this the first time that an HRR member has completed the classic 24 hour Lake District round? To put this effort into perspective the Bob Graham round is mostly off road taking in 42 Lake district named summits with a total ascent of around 26,000ft. It was originally given as over 70 miles, modern mapping techniques have given the currently accepted value of 66 miles (still the same route). |
