Kenny Lowies was second VM45 and Rebecca Ferry was third VL35.
The Bourton 10k runs twice around the town centre which is very flat and fast and then catapults the runners out to the out and back country road .
While racing out you head out to a cone in the road then turn round and come back , this year the cone was a further 400mt up the road so as to add more distance as when runners came back into the town they only did one lap instead of two , which in recent years has caused some confusion .
So on the way back you get to see all the runners on the way up to the turn , which made for a bit of banter and a few high fives .
With perfect conditions there was going to be some fast times and there was no disappointment either with the first five runners all in with 32min results WOW . |
