As usual hotter than predicted and as expected too many runners to expect a perfect race-day experience but these things aside it was a mildly challenging sunny Sunday run!
Pros:Spectacular Red Arrows display at the finish against a brilliant blue sky background-not your everyday 1/2M finish line celebrations.
Cons: poor value for money at £38ish and possibly the worlds worst goody bag (why have a small box of cereal in there?)
Well done to Rob for some consistent pacing (i should have stuck with you instead of my yo-yo pace and 5mins longer than expected time!).
I'll be back for my 14th GNR next year hoping to run a steady even split! (not happened yet)
