Sister race of the long-running Oxford version. Sponsored by Muscular Dystrophy UK and similar in so many respects, right down to the yet another orange T-shirt in the goody bag. But above all it was flat and fast. A smaller field (just under 1,300) meant that it wasn't too crowded and the route went past many of the colleges and along the river Cam. I was first, last and only Headington Road Runner. Would recommend this race (I seem to have picked up the previous results from the Oxford Town & Gown race at the bottom!) |
