Richard writes: A cracking start to the XC season for round 1 of the Chiltern League at Milton Keynes. Warm and breezy conditions greeted us as we happily welcomed new additions as well as seasoned campaigners to the HRR team. I'm sure there will be mud to come as we progress into the season, however, conditions were very firm and dry underfoot. Our 9 women and 15 men finished 10th and 8th teams respectively with a combined finish of 7th out of 16 senior teams in division 1. This represents a good start and a solid platform to build on for our 'home' fixture at Horspath on 14th November. Thanks to everyone who took part, and a reminder to keep your race number for the season. |
