Comments: A packed minibus for the long journey to Keysoe, but as ever good competitive running on the long courses there. The legendary water feature was less deep and less cold than last year's "refreshing" ice bath, but the ground got progressively more muddy as the races went on. Great organisation from caretaker manager, Richard. Katie served showstopper cakes again, backed up a flapjack round from the other bakers in the tent. Another robust performance from the women's team. The average age of the men's team was ... old, but thanks to the Vet men placing second on the day HRR maintained a safe league position. With one race to go Yvonne, Helen, Kenny and Kevin are all fourth in their age categories, so some individual medals to run for next month. The Vet men are third overall, but need to hold off Chiltern Harriers in the final round.
