In an e-mail John wrote: "a very chilly muddy afternoon the great HRR produced 'the goods'." "Men 4th on the day (3pts short of 3rd) to consolidate our 4th in the league. Vet men 1st again to almost guarantee the League title with one race to go." "Women also 4th on the day (when only 24 pts covered the 5 top clubs) to be 4th in the league. And a superb 1st from women vets to claw their way back to top of the league with everything hanging on the last race. Every place will count." |
