Pretty good conditions for the first Club 5k of the year. Unfortunately parking issues at OXSRAD may have discouraged some potential runners. Of the select field Julien Lhomme was the fastest runner ahead of Jason Smith. The first woman finisher was Allison Hirst, returning to HRR after a few years participation as a guest. Allison was also the winner on the age-grading scoring ahead of Simon Dales and so sets a strong target for the rest of the series.

The next round on Saturday 25 May will also be included in the HRR road race championships. |
