Good conditions for the first Club 5km of the year - though we probably could have done without the two broken down cars and the AA near the start/finish !
Gary was first across the line with Helen being the first woman. However on the age graded scores Jude edged out them both to post a challenging target for the rest of the series. All three along with Laurie recorded scores greater than the 80% mark with Helen beating her best age graded score, James and Ian were not far off it.
Through the field there were excellent performances, some from people trying out 5km for the only the first or second time.
Race 2 is on Saturday 29 May. |
