The 3rd club 5k of year was run in possibly the warmest conditions for a number of years. Chris Dettmar was the fastest runner in a time of 16:11 and on the age graded scoring basis broke Allison Hirst's 13 year old best HRR performance for the series with 88.4. Only Allison running as guest has recorded a higher score in the series. Emily Georgiades was the fastest woman in 19:31 though Yvonne Morris recorded the best age grade score. There were number of other notable performances, e.g. Simon Dales and Phil Kimber both over 80 with James Eve missing out by the smallest margin. Plus there were a number of small groups finishing together pushing each other on.
The final race of the 2018 series is back in the usual Saturday morning slot on the 8th September.
