There was a small, but select, field for the final Club 5k of the year. Run in good conditions before the rain started Richard Ashby was the first runner home, 19 seconds ahead of Simon Dales. Yvonne Morris was just ahead of Michelle Reid as the fastest woman.
On the age-graded scores Simon was the winner recording an excellent 85.3 improving on his score in round 3. However, this was not quite enough to overtake Chris Dettmar's leading score from round 3 - 86.7 - so Chris is the winner of the series for the third year in succession.
