The final club 5km of year attracted a relatively small, but judging by the some of scenes at the finish, a highly committed field. The fastest runner - as in race 1 in the same time of 17:28 - was Mika Vesterinen. He was followed home by Rob Halliday just ahead of the fastest woman Diane Foster. On the age-graded scoring scheme Diane was the winner and improved her race 2 score (87.3). However, this improvement was not quite enough to pass Chris Dettmar's epic effort in race 3. Hence the final result of the 2018 Club 5k series is
1. Chris Dettmar - 88.4 (Race 3)
2. Diane Foster - 87.7 (Race 4)
3. Simon Dales - 85.4 (Race 2)
