The final race of this year's series was run in fine conditions. James Eve was well ahead of the rest of field at the finish but on the age graded scores Stuart Thorp (Oxford City AC) was the winner for the second race in a row. Other notable highlights included Jane Bell beating the 80% mark for the first time and Yiannis recording his best score in this years series after a 20km warm up.
However no one bettered Michael Worthington's 82.0% score recorded in Race 1 therefore he is the winner of the 2009 5km series. |
