| Comments: | The final race in the Club 5km series was run in almost perfect conditions. Richard Baskerville was the first runner home about half a minute ahead of the first woman Allison Hirst (ex HRR – Guest). On the age graded scoring Allison recorded an exceptional 88.0 – the only person who has scored higher in the series is Allison herself. The best HRR score was recorded by John Griffiths who improved on his 2012 series best. Richard also improved his previous best score and was agonisingly close to making it onto the 80.0+ performances table (see the Club 5k webpage). Since no HRR runner managed to improve upon the 82.2 score Gary Harris recorded in the first race, Gary is the winner of the 2012 series. |
