Andy Sulley became only the second person to win the
Lineshot Trophy two years in a row as he overhauled
Sharon and Kit in the last few metres to record the
closest final win in the last few years. Daniel Rings was
fastest man for the first time and Rachel Shaw was
fastest woman again. Many thanks to all of you time
trialists. You turned out in record numbers this year
(93 of you in May). And especial thanks to Andy Sulley
again, who provided the brilliant new Time Trial discs
which everyone can read and have made my life so much
easier. There is no truth in the scurrilous rumours that
his favourable handicap was his reward. Thanks also to
everyone who has helped at he start and finish,
especially, of course, Robert Logan. See you all in
