Comments: I like this race but it is hard on your feet. Beautiful weather, cool and sunny with very little wind. Such a beautiful course, although I have to say I didn't spend a lot of time looking around. You do have to watch where you're putting your feet a lot of the time because most of the route is on stony farm tracks with the occasional interlude of grass or road. My feet were quite sore at the end. The course undulates reasonably for the first few miles but just before half way it gets very steep, both down and up and I was very tired by the time I reached the last water station at 16 miles. Fortunately the last 4 miles is almost entirely downhill and I managed to keep going.
