Nice flat half marathon mainly on quiet country roads. Small field and chip timing. Starts in the charming Saxon town of Cricklade - parking is a little tricky, but the race is well organised and marshalled (although for some reason they don't post out numbers/chips so you need to allow time to collect). There is also a 10k and a fun-run that leave shortly after the half marathon, which is a little chaotic. Well worth the journey if you are chasing a PB at this distance (which I was, but for the atrocious weather!) |
