Maureen smashed the club record with a brilliant run! This slightly undulating new route was chipped for the first time this year. Only 3,500 runners but relays, half marathon runners, fun runners and walkers also paticipated. The weather was kind, a light breeze along the coastal road was refreshing with warm sun as a reward at the end! Highly recommended, with enthusiatic crowd support. A well organised Marathon which attracted some particularly fast for age runners. Well done Maureen, you star, London here you come....... |
