| Comments: | A beautiful clear blue sky greeted the first boat load of 200 runners as they boarded the 9.00 a.m steamer for the 30 minute trip up Ullswater to Howtown for the second leg of the Dirty Double. We started at 9.30, an hour ahead of the second wave of 200 challenge runners. The Trail race 200 runners boarding at 11.00a.m. for an 11.30 start. | |||||
