Weather-wise, this marathon had it all - I managed to get both sunburnt and soaked in the same event. The course starts you off near the city centre, taking you round Arthur's Seat and into the Edinburgh suburbs before heading down to the coast road around mile 5 for an out and back route by the sea. The HRR crew all had good races, with a smattering of PBs and a marathon monkey finally off a certain someone's back.
Big thanks to Tim for organising pretty much the whole weekend. We even came third in a local pub quiz.
