What better way to spend the steamingly hot evening of the Summer Solstice than running around a forest near Bracknell. There were no other Oxfordshire runners in evidence, but this race is well worth the journey if you like something a bit different. Even the "medal" was made out of wood.
Interesting too, that whilst I wilted in the heat and ended up being almost a minute slower than last year, I improved my overall position from 2016 by 16 places and my category position by four places. |
