The 4 H's came together on Saturday evening - Hot, Humid, Hilly
and Hornton. A group of 18 HRR first claim members and Mara
Yamauchi lined up for the start of over 150 runners. This is a lovely
setting for a race. The village cottages are built from the honey
coloured stone of the area and they shone in the evening sun.
Getting to the top of the hills was rewarded with stunning views over
the north of our county and with nice downhills afterwards of
course! Not a PB course, but you can compare with previous years, so just run it to enjoy it and to join in the BBQ on the village field after the race. You can even camp there for free that night. Well done to Howard Marshall for winning the V60 category! And Mara Yamauchi for coming in first lady. |
