| Comments: | "Possibly the toughest road marathon & half marathon in the UK" over 200 runners lined up for the combined marathon & half races over 13.1 miles of rolling Yorkshire hills, with the marathoners covering 2 laps of the rugged course. The day started out cool and overcast, brightening up throughout the day. A very pleasant run around some very beautiful, albeit hard going hills.
