| Comments: | Even cracking a rib the week before while ice-skating couldn't stop me from having another go and try to get under those eight hours. The wheather forecast just seemed too tempting to miss the opportunity. Nice north-westerly wind and a blue sky for the whole race. In the end I went well under eight hours, winning the Bill Brown Cup for the best improver and smashing my previous best by over an hour to finish 10th male in 7 hours 14 minutes and 23 seconds. | |||||||
