| Comments: | The conditions were worse than ever I was told, and it was definitely much worse than last year. No chance to improve last year's time. Most runners reckoned the torrential rain and the gusty winds (from the south) cost at least 30 minutes. In that way loosing only eight minutes was a great achievement and I halved my placing to 20th (from 42nd in 2000). One thing is for sure, next year the weather will be better. |
