This race should be a family friendly fun-run, and whilst most of the entrants are children, more "serious" runners are starting to turn up, which is a bit of shame if only because I (probably) won't ever win it again.
Clare won the ladies race for the 2nd year, well done to her.
This course is really tough for a 5k, it is mostly off road and on very tight and twisting paths through a nature reserve, including some quite overgrown areas with nettles etc. Not a course for a fast time, but it starts and ends at a pub, and for £3 you can't complain. |
