A fantastic HRR turnout to run 22.5 miles in the beautiful, if brutal , Welsh countryside. Runners start at 11 am promptly followed fifteen minutes later by the horses. Really well organised race and well supported en route by a team of helpful and supportive marshals. There is only water on offer at cp's to keep littering to a minimum so remember to bring food if you need it. Great spread of sandwiches put on for runners post event along with a substantial medal and a jar of peanut butter. If you park at the registration point be aware that there is a mile walk back from the finish ! It was a long mile! |
