A cool and cloudy start to the day beckons ideal running
conditions - at least for the sharp end of the field.
Huge congratulations to another Team Tuesday success -
Anthony qualifying for a GFA place on his marathon debut.
The day began to warm up appreciably after he'd finished,
and I struggled to keep up with the 4:30 pacer, finishing
a few minutes behind him.
I'd forgotten how tough the last section of this race is
with a couple of hills (about the only 2 to be found in
Milton Keynes), and some undulating ups & downs going
through the underpasses.
A well organised race, with views of lakes, the canal,
the "redway" and a stadium finish. |
