The showers before the race just about held off for the race to make a perfect evening for running.
A great turn out of Headington runners and many thanks to those that marshalled, cheered and generally abused us on the way round.
Some great inter club battles between HRR runners with Charlotte, Laura, Alison and Rachel finishing within seconds of each other. When I asked Rachel if they had been competing against each other or running together, she said put it this way we weren't talking which says it all really! I hope Bob Green has got over the depression of me beating him (no appologies for the self indulgence).
Nice to see so many in the pub after, the Landlady has promised to provide food next year!

Headington A (Jude, Diane and Charlotte) were comfortable winners of the team prize and now have a large lead in the series competition, while Headington B (Adrienne, Rachel and Harriet) just scraped 3rd and maintain their gap over Woodstock. |
