| Comments: | This race starts by going round three sides of a football field and then it's uphill for 1M; the race ends with a slight uphill and the other side of the football field. However, the rest of the course is flat or undulating mainly going down gently through wonderful countryside. The terrain is mainly tarmac or concrete but there are a few small, loose gravel, uneven paths. It was humid. Certainly, the weather was a lot better than when Vasily did the race last year. Unlike his race, the race directions this year were clear but I had a few more runners in front of me! Although my official result was 37:53, my watch said 38:50. My guess is that the official result ought to be 38:53. Curiously, I heard a peacock going up the hill in the first 1M. |
