This fixture rounded off the season both for the OXL and for HRR cross-country in general and was a good one to end on, with an interesting and challenging course but not as wet underfoot as it sometimes has been, and pleasant weather. There were some good results for the season, with Fergus Campbell 2nd in the men's V50 and Anita James second in the women's V55. The men's A team were 3rd in Division 1, while the men's B team were first in Division 3. The women's A team finished mid-table in Division 1 with 6th place. In the mixed relay that took place for the first time as a trial after the main races, the HRR team of Dougie Moffett, Ian Hewitt, Maddie Ding and Leonie Glasson came second. |
