| Comments: | A stinking hot day in the Nevada desert (35 ish degrees), this race, held just a couple of miles from the Vegas strip was a fairly tortous race around a neighbourhood. The race was held in typically American style; the national anthem sung before the start, vast amounts of donuts and gatorade available afterwards. Someone even proposed to his girlfriend after the race (she said yes). I came 7th overall, 2nd in my category. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
