David Sawyer writes: On Sunday 22nd June we had 3 teams out on the Ridgeway Relay (29 runners in all). James
Eve ran two legs about 10 hours apart for the vets. (1st & 10th). The team managers decided
to favour the Mostly Women’s team this year with their selection. This paid off
handsomely, with them winning the Mostly Women’s title. Another shield for the trophy
cabinet. From what I saw everyone had a very enjoyable day out, with some first-time
runners really enjoying their first team race experience. Lucy A and I followed throughout the morning
from Wendover to West Isley to give our support. |
